This is Bags of Action. This monthly podcast is devoted to action movies, both old and new, but all of them awesome! A rotating group of hosts will talk about an action movie and then give the film a score. It's as simple as that. This episode Steve and Pete record an episode in the same room where they talk about Enter the Dragon, arguably Bruce Lee's most famous movie. Next month we will be talking about Hard Boiled, the John Woo classic. Scott and Steve are joined by debut author, Laura Lam, to discuss The Stars My Destination by Alfred Bester. The response to the book from listeners and all three hosts was varied, but on the whole it seemed positive. In this episode we discuss the characters, the story, areas we all struggled with, influences and references to other works of fiction. Our next book club selection will be The Alchemist of Souls by Anne Lyle. We'll be talking about it on week commencing January 7th 2013 so be sure to let us know what you think of the book.
